DESCRIPTION

This SAC from the M division of BMW is a tour de force. Add the Akrapovič Evolution performance exhaust system for improved power, reduced weight, and better sound. The Evolution is a complete “catalytic converter back system” and comprises titanium link pipes with resonators, a titanium X-pipe, and a muffler with integrated valves. It dramatically reduces back pressure and enhances power delivery. The sound is transformed thanks to the dual-mode exhaust flap system, which helps deliver a deeper but civilized sound at low revs and a sportier exhaust note at higher revs, all without droning. Complete the look with a set of four exquisite 100 mm tailpipes in titanium or carbon fibre. Further tuning opportunities exist with our stainless steel high-flow down pipes.When installing Akrapovič aftermarket optional down pipes with sports catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, which are developed for use on closed tracks only, remapping the ECU is mandatory. When installing Akrapovič aftermarket exhaust system that was developed for use on closed tracks, we recommend remapping the ECU in order to prevent potential »check engine light« warning signals.
